Jasmeet has over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sector.
He is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional leading the entire fund-raising program with 6 funds aggregating 600 million USD and manages a diverse portfolio valued at over 1 billion USD across different life stages.
Jasmeet has been instrumental in driving successful fund-raising initiatives and nurturing strong relationships with investors and promoters. His wealth of experience has led to an outstanding record of successful deal-making, successful fund-raising, and efficient third-party portfolio management.
He is credited with founding the Power-Ed platform, a trailblazing investment platform for K-12 education infrastructure in India. He also executed investment strategy across various verticals and co-founded Genome Valley Research Platform GVRP – a distinguished CRO offering pre-clinical and early drug discovery solutions.
Prior to this, he held senior portfolio management positions at India Reit and Red Fort Capital, where he played a key role in growing India Reit from an early-stage start-up to an entity worth USD 900 million, with a portfolio of over USD 1 billion AUM across different life-stages.
Vishal is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He has honed his expertise over the years — thanks to his extensive global exposure in the dynamic markets of India, the United States, and Singapore.
In his 20+ years of professional experience, Vishal has been pivotal in establishing successful investment platforms, including Power-Ed, a K-12 education infrastructure investment platform in India, and Genome Valley Research Platform (GVRP), a CRO offering pre-clinical and early drug discovery solutions. He has also incubated Rx Propellant, an Actis-backed platform, and successfully introduced innovative investment platforms such as Bharat Dorms and India Industrials.
Under his leadership, JV Ventures plans to list its portfolio of edu-infra assets as Schoolhouse InvIT - India’s maiden Education Infrastructure focused platform.
Vishal’s experience in the real estate and infrastructure industry is noteworthy, having previously led the India operations of Alexandria, a USD 8 billion REIT listed on NYSE, for 5 years. He has also played a key role in conceptualizing and developing the ‘Genome Valley’ cluster in Hyderabad as an advisor to the Government of Telangana.
His expertise in private equity, real estate, and infrastructure investment strategies, combined with his experience in handling large PPP transactions and private equity advisory business with E&Y for a decade, makes Vishal a valuable asset to JV Ventures.
